Get Fired Up, Startup Weekend Participants!
Here’s some general information for you before you show up tonight:
- Startup Weekend is being graciously hosted by Brand Networks. The address is 61 Commercial Street. Parking will be available in the High Falls Garage. Since you’ll be there late into the evening, please make sure you don’t leave valuables in your car/visible in your car and make sure you lock your vehicle. We don’t foresee problems, but we would rather everyone take general precautions!
- Registration starts at 6:30. Please make sure you bring ID with you. As we’ll be serving alcohol through the weekend, wrist bands will be provided to participants 21+
- Don’t forget your laptops or tablets. You’ll need these as you work with your team throughout the evening then the weekend
- Dinner will be provided once you register/before we get started
- Don’t forget business cards if you have them – the whole weekend will be a great networking opportunity, make sure you leverage your resources.
- If you are not already on Twitter, please register for an account before arriving this weekend. Everyone will be encouraged to engage in conversations on Twitter as part of the event — let’s get loud!
- There will be organizers and coordinators present throughout the weekend; whenever you have questions or concerns, find one of us and we’ll help you out. Organizers will be easy to find because our T-shirts are grey and they say “Organizer” on the back. (Participant T-shirts are blue.)
